Collagen plays an important role in strengthening connective tissues. These proteins are major building blocks to our bones, skin, teeth, muscles, tendons, and ligaments.
Unfortunately as we age, our ability to produce collagen diminishes and this is one of the reasons our skin starts to develop wrinkles.
Interestingly, studies have shown taking collagen improves muscle mass and strength. Suggesting collagen supplements support the loss of body fat by enhancing the effects of weight training on muscle mass.

The ingredients explained
Marine collagen: Collagen is the primary ingredient in this supplement and it is obtained from marine sources - widely regarded as the highest quality, and most bioavailable source of collagen. This is then complemented by the inclusion of hand-picked vitamin, mineral, herbal and other nutritive allies.
Hyaluronic acid: Naturally occurring in connective tissue throughout our bodies, with over half found within our skin. It is one of the major components of our extracellular structure and its main function is to retain water to keep our skin hydrated.
Biotin: Biotin helps maintain many of your body's major systems. Like other B vitamins, biotin helps your body use enzymes and carry nutrients throughout the body. This nutrient is essential for healthy hair, skin and normal energy-yielding metabolism.
Vitamin B3 (niacin): Vitamin B3 contributes to the maintenance of skin, normal energy-yielding metabolism and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Vitamin C: Vitamin C is an essential nutrient involved in the repair of tissue and the formation of collagen.
Vitamin E: Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Zinc: Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal hair, nails and skin, the maintenance of normal bones, the normal function of the immune system and the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Copper: A key component in collagen production. It contributes to the maintenance of normal connective tissues, hair pigmentation, skin pigmentation, protection of cells from oxidative stress, normal function of the immune system and energy-yielding metabolism.
Selenium: This mineral is a component of more than two dozen proteins that influence everything from skin health to metabolism. It contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and nails, the normal function of the immune system,and the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Pomegranate: Possesses antibacterial, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory properties. It can effectively fight skin problems like acne, pimples, and rashes.
Grapefruit seed: The properties of grapefruit seed extract help eliminate any bacterial infection which may be the cause of dandruff and thinning hair. The high levels of vitamin C fight bacteria and prevent the hair follicles from being clogged by particles of dry skin and dandruff.
Rosemary leaf: Rosemary's antioxidants help prevent wrinkles by stopping free radicals from breaking down the skin's elasticity.
Pine bark: Studies suggest pine bark extract contributes to skin hydration and reduces pigmentation.
Silica: Silica, made up of the most common elements on earth - silicon (Si) and oxygen (O2) and is used by the body to create and maintain collagen. Silica significantly improves the elasticity, texture and hydration of the skin, as well as reducing visible signs of ageing.
Astaxanthin: Astaxanthin has been proven to have a positive effect on collagen production as well as sun protection and recovery.

Whilst we manufacture our products in the UK not all ingredients can be found here. Our raw materials can be sourced in the UK and across the world, to strict pharmaceutical or food grade standards. We are continually updating our source of ingredients to find the best, highest quality ingredients.
What packaging do you use to be sustainable?
The materials that we use for our bottles are fully recyclable.
Where is my order?
Our warehouse is operating as normal but deliveries may experience delays of 2-3 days due to the current situation impacting our delivery providers. Overseas orders may experience longer delays. Your order will have been dispatched up to 48hrs after you placed your order and we would ask that you wait 2-3 days for the order to arrive. In the unlikely and unfortunate event that your order is still not received within in this time frame please contact us at hello@mantrasupplements.co.uk and we will check the tracking numbers, if the order has not been delivered we will arrange for a replacement as soon as possible.
How do I cancel or amend my order?
All orders are prepared or dispatched within 24 hours by our warehouse teams (all orders placed on Fridays, weekends and public holidays dispatched within 24 hours after the next working day). If for any reason you wish to cancel or make a change to your order we advise that you contact our customer care team on hello@mantrasupplements.co.uk immediately after placing your order, we cannot guarantee that your order can always be cancelled or changed before it is dispatched. If you have placed an order in error and we cannot stop it being dispatched, we will of course arrange a free-return and refund for any unwanted product(s).
